EASTER SAT Sat 3 April Australian Pipe Band Championships 8am to
7pm Caloundra Indoor Sports Stadium, North St, Golden Beach Graded into grades four, three, two and one with a special grade for juvenile pipers and drummers, bands are challenged to perform specific genres of music. Juvenile
and grade four bands play a traditional march selection plus an own-choice musical selection, whilst grades three, two and one play a march, strathspey and reel and an own-choice musical selection.Technical ability of piping and

Champions Championships Australia’s most prestigious highland dancing event 8am to 7pm Caloundra Indoor Sports Complex, North St Golden Beach The Champion of Champions Championship of Australia is
Australia's most prestigious highland dancing event. It brings together Highland Dancers from many parts of the World as it rotates on a biennial basis through the states of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia
and Tasmania. Saturday's Highland Dancing events include the Queensland Highland Dancing Championships, the Tartan Spectacular Titles and a very special fundraising event - "Australia's Largest Highland Fling."
Monies raised from this will be devoted to finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and for the future care of Logan Mitchelsen, the son of former world Champion Gareth Mitchelsen. Everyone is invited to "dance a Fling for
Logan" Sunday sees the Champion of Championships Highland Dancing Championship of Australia and the Queensland Highland Dancing Titles. Dancers from Canada, New Zealand, the United States of America will compete alongside our

For those travelling from the Brisbane & Sunshine coast direction follow the Bruce Highway north to Traveston Road which is approximately 15 minutes past the Pomona turn-off. Turn right into the Traveston Road & follow for approximately 4.5km, turn left into Tandur Traveston Road & the Dingo Creek Winery is 1.3km from the intersection, turn right under the railway line at the winery sign.
If travelling from Gympie, go south along the Bruce Highway from Gympie for approximately 15 minutes & turn left at Matilda service station at Kybong, onto the Tandur Road. Follow
for approximately 4.7kms & turn right into the Tandur Traveston Road just before the railway line. Follow the Tandur Traveston Road for approximately 2.7kms & turn left at the winery sign. The area will be well sign posted.

Fri 23 Apr from 12 noon Class Clowns (Competition Heat) Nambour Civic Centre - Theatre FREE Public Performance 3pm to 4pm
Sunshine Coast Council is partnering with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) to present Class Clowns, a national youth comedy competition & workshop program, for the first time on the coast. The
competition has been run by MICF since 1996 & is aimed at young people aged 14 to 17 years (or in Year 9 to 12).
At a Class Clowns gig, participants who have prepared a comedy routine (max 5 mins) participate in a
workshop with a professional comedian before performing on stage to a public audience. The winner goes to the Queensland State Final at Brisbane Powerhouse, & can go on to the Nationals in Melbourne , to compete for $2000
in cash & prizes. In the lead up, Free Crash Course workshops with professional comedian, Liz Skitch, were offered across the coast during March for budding comedians to learn valuable comedy skills, test their material
& help prepare them for the Class Clowns heat. Class Clowns acts can enter through their school or independently as an individual, duo or trio.
