Live Theatre Nambour!
Sweet Fanny Adams - Musical

Matinee:  July 13, 20, 26 at 2pm
The Lind Theatre
16 Mitchell Street
Nambour

Sydney 1930, amidst the depression and squalor, Sweet Fanny Adams throws a brighter, comically musical light on the famous brothels of Palmer St. Mrs Fanny Adams has been the top operator until Kitty Divine gives her a run for her money.

A crooked judge, lazy husband and chirpy cabbie enliven the scene with hardly a straight razor in sight. Then there's sweet little Nellie, the pride of the Mallee, not so innocent and fast becoming the top money earner on Palmer Street.

It's a rollicking musical fun look at the seedier side of life. You'd have to be deaf , not to leave this show with a tune on your lips. We warn you, it's a fun show about " those girls ".
Cost: Adult/Member $30 / $25 Concession $28

By Alan Ayckbourn | Starring Nigel Lindsay | Directed by Adam Penford
A riotous exposure of entrepreneurial greed by Olivier Award-winning playwright Alan Ayckbourn (Bedroom Farce, A Chorus of  Disapproval). A Small Family Business returns to the National Theatre for the first time since its celebrated premiere in 1987, when it won the Evening Standard Award for Best New Play.

Jack McCracken: a man of principle in a corrupt world. But not for long. Moments after taking over his father-in-law’s business he’s approached by a private detective armed with some compromising information. ‘Simply Sinatra’
Tom Burlinson with Swing Band

Nambour Civic Centre
8pm

Presenting Australian star of screen and stage, Tom Burlinson, in his musical production ‘SIMPLY SINATRA’- an intimate, yet swinging celebration of the music and career of the legendary Ol’ Blue Eyes.

Tom’s illustrious career stretches from acting and singing, to television host and theatrical producer. He first shot to stardom in the ‘80s when he was cast in the title role in the box office hit, ‘The Man from Snowy River’, which became one of the most successful Australian films ever made. This led to a string of starring roles in movies over the next several years.
‘Simply Sinatra’ has been created for more intimate venues. Now accompanied by a smaller band of fine musicians, Tom sings over 20 of Sinatra’s greatest hits, and talks with considerable knowledge of some of the highlights of his extraordinary career.

From ‘Come Fly with Me’, ‘All the Way’, ‘Lady is a Tramp’ and ‘You Make Me Feel So Young’ to ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’, ‘That’s Life’ and ‘New york, New York’ plus many more!

Alex Williamson
Dumb Things I’ve Done

resonating with pure soul. While primarily recognised as an axeman of unusual

essential signature of his soulful, bluesy muse – as it has been since his
first tentative foray into music during the early 1970s.
