, appealing to local residents & visitors alike, with Caloundra’s iconic surfing beach providing the perfect backdrop. Here’s an overview of what’s coming up in Caloundra in 2010:
Take part in the Australia Day celebrations in January, get fit for the Caloundra Triathlon in February or be entertained by Damien Leith, The
McClymonts, John Rowles or Elvis to the Max all visiting Caloundra. Make sure you catch the Tokyo Shock Boys & Kevin Bloody Wilson in March!
April is a diverse month with plenty to see & do during the Easter
Holidays, & RAW SOUNDS before the school holidays end. May is a big month starting off at a chopping good pace at the Maleny Wood Expo, the Antique & Collectables Show. There’s also The
Delltones & The Platters just in time for Mother’s Day & Mum’s teen idol, Bobby Rydell, the Sunshine Coast Home Show, Caravan & Camping Expo is on again in Kawana, the Caloundra Swim Challenges & of
course, The Caloundra City Show in Maleny!!
In the HUGE month of June, attend the Dreaming Indigenous Festival at
Woodford, or take a trip to the Abbey Museum on their free day! The Sunshine Coast Show is on for 3 days & the annual Ride for Daniel is happening again, so is the Noosa LongWeekend & then at the end of the
month dress up for a day at the races - the Caloundra City Cup Carnival is on & the Eumundi Food Fest too! Phew! June is so jam packed with full-on events it’s exhausting just reading it! You’ll need a
holiday in Caloundra to recover!
July is the fascinating Open Cockpit Weekend at the Aerodrome plus the
Monster Bookfest is on again, Caloundra City Bowls Carnival will keep you on your toes & it’s Bindi’s 12th birthday at Australia Zoo. There’s

October is Rocktober the ‘music’ month of sun, surf & soul with the highly anticipated Caloundra Music
Festival which will be held again at Kings Beach with a heap of legendary Australian & International artists visiting Caloundra to perform live for local audiences. There’s heaps of live music, legendary performers &
even musicals all during October. It’s simply awesome! Also the Sunshine Coast Home Show is the big drawcard in Kawana & the month finishes off with a super, spooky Halloween at Australia Zoo!!.
The excitement doesn’t stop in November with heaps of fabulous live entertainment & much more + the North Coast Boat Show & Reef to River Fishing Classic, our very own Melbourne Cup Day celebrations at
Corbould Park Caloundra & we commemorate the City’s favourite son on Steve Irwin Day. As we wind down to Christmas it’s Robert’s 7th birthday at Australia Zoo in December, then we finish off the year with Carols on Kings & then
head to our favourite piece of utopia—Woodford Folk Festival only a short drive away from Caloundra—between Christmas & New Year
