Celebration Park at Kings Beach is the setting for many spectacular events throughout the year, appealing to residents & visitors alike, with Caloundra’s iconic surfing beach providing the perfect backdrop.Take part in the Australia Day celebrations at Kings Beach in January, get fit for the Caloundra Triathlon in February or get crafty at the Suncoast Stitches Craft & Hobby Expo in March.

April’s a big month with Opera on Kings, the Suncoast Home & Lifestyle Expo, Les Miserables & even Suzi Quatro is getting into the Caloundra groove on her ‘Back to the Drive’ Tour. May is the Caloundra City Show & the Maleny Wood Expo plus the hilarious Melbourne Comedy Roadshow comes to town.

In June enjoy Menopause-The Musical or Bell Shakespeare catch Powderfinger Damien Leith or Lorna Luft & then dress up for a day at the races - the Caloundra City Cup Carnival is on too!

July is the fascinating Open Cockpit Weekend at the Aerodrome plus it’s a huge live entertainment month with Drum Tao, Jimmy Barnes, Spiderbait, Leo Sayer, The Angels, The Delltones, Jane Rutter all visiting Caloundra as well as the Bridal Expo, Monster Bookfest, Caloundra City Bowls Carnival & it’s Bindi’s 10th birthday at Australia Zoo.

Get revitalised at the Healthy Living Expo in August, see Dorothy the Dinosaur, catch dinner & show with Grace Knight or spend a Night at the Operas. Cheer on the boats in the Caloundra Classic Boat Regatta at Golden Beach. Spring starts off with ‘Shout’ in September plus Cricketfest hits a six in town as does Shannon Noll & The Living End

October is the ‘music’ month for the much anticipated Caloundra Music Festival at Kings Beach with a heap of legendary Australian artists visiting Caloundra to perform live for local audiences. Also the Sunshine Coast Home Show & Outdoor Adventure Expo is the big drawcard in Kawana.
The excitement doesn’t stop in November with the North Coast Boat Show & Reef to River Classic, Melbourne Cup Day celebrations & we commemorate the City’s favourite son on Steve Irwin Day.
As we wind down to Christmas it’s Robert’s 5th birthday at Australia Zoo in December, then we finish off the year with Carols on Kings.
