DOGS ARE PEOPLE TOO!
That’s why we have dog friendly beaches!!!

dogbeach2
With all bathing reserve areas off-limits to dogs, it’s good to know there are defined spaces where it’s okay to take your furry buddy off-leash for a run, to socialise or chase a ball as dogs love to do.

Beach? Beach? Did someone say Beach?

Dogs Off-Leash At All Times
(A) Grahame Stewart Park, (B) Currimundi foreshore, Gothic Pde to Buderim St (C) Coochin Park, Dicky Beach, & (D) Woorim Park, Golden Beach.

Dogs need to feel the sand between their toes too!

Maleny Art Craft & Collectables Market
RSL Hall, Bunya St Maleny
Every Sunday 8am—2pm
(Closed Anzac Day - Sun 25 Apr)
What makes our market different? Well, most stalls are indoors in the lovely old RSL Building, situated along the Obi Obi Creek, on the left as you drive into town, so you can't miss us. We are on every Sunday, rain or shine.
Over the years the type of market stalls have changed & we now have many more 'collectable' type stalls, with old wares, antiques, tools, etc, which makes our market very exciting, just like markets should be! Apart from discovering that perfect treasure for your home, we also have fantastic fresh local produce, fruit & vegetables in season, jams, cakes & conserves, high quality, locally produced art & handcrafts, indigenous & exotic herbs & roses, handmade soaps, pottery & jewellery, as well as a picture framer, fair trade goods, & not forgetting Jessie's fabulous Asian food!
There are plenty of tables & chairs to sit down, relax & enjoy a tea or coffee & have a chat with friends.
So next Sunday, do something different. Head up the Hinterland for a leisurely drive & make sure you pop into the Maleny Art, Craft & Collectables Market!
New stalls always welcome!

Kingfisher Dve Peregian Beach
7am—12.30pm

Surfside of the Peregian Surf Life Saving Club, in the  extremely well maintained park & facilities you’ll find the local Sunday Peregian Beach markets. The markets provide both locals & visitors with a wide range of uniquely local handmade arts & crafts; local, vintage &  imported products, as well as fresh locally grown produce at extremely competitive prices. We offer a full day of quality relaxed family entertainment.

After exploring the markets, chill-out safely between the flags at our SLSC patrolled beach directly below. Showers & toilets are well-maintained & are located at the southern end of the SLSC building.

A variety of live outdoor music promptly replaces the markets & the wide park is opened completely for more leisure &  pleasure. Several gas-installed BBQ’s are available, along with a contemporary skateboard park, basketball court & large shaded playground.

We encourage you to purchase ice-cold drinks & Great Ozzie Food from the southern ground level of the SLSC as all profits go directly back to the club.

BYO or gather a variety of takeaways from downstairs & upstairs at the Peregian SLSC, & the unique bakeries & cafes in the ambient village just across the road. We locals enjoy promoting our region, so please ask if you need any assistance.
