The Getaway Plan - Bones and Skin Tour
The Events Centre, 20 Minchinton Street, Caloundra
7.30pm
Nova, Channel V & MySpace presents Kisschasy, The Donnas (US) The Getaway Plan - Bones and Skin Tour
Having grown up in Melbourne, this young rock band, consisting of Darren Cordeux, Joel Vanderuit, Sean Thomas and Karl Ammitzboll, have released one LP, a handful of EPs, and toured consistently since inception. The band got together after they met at the Vans Warped Tour in Melbourne, where at the time they were playing for different local bands. Their chemistry was immediate and they decided upon the band name So Many Ways, which was inspired by a song from American band, New Found Glory. That name didn't last too long but the band did and from this point on they began touring as Kisschasey.

In 2004, Kisschasy released two EPs, Darkside/Stay Awake, in March and Cara Sposa in October. In 2005 Kisschasey released their debut LP, United Paper People, which fared well in the charts and among fans. They received a top #15 debut album spot from ARIA, high radio rotation, and the opportunity to support such international acts as Simple Plan and The Dandy Warhols. Most impressively the three songs released all made it into the top 50s chart and the third single, The Shake, has since been re-released with two other b-side acoustic tracks.
Tickets: $37 pre-book or $40 at the door
