Johnny O’Keefe will be played by the brilliant Dale Pengelly, whom many of you will know from Singing in the Rain & Saturday night Fever
Johnny’s mother is played by Gold Logie, award winning actress Rowena Wallace, best known for her role as Patricia in Sons and Daughters
Xanthe Coward, plays O’Keefe’s wife Marianne. Xanthe has appeared as Betty Rizzo in Grease and Fantine in Les Miserables. Johnny’s father will be played by Jodie Collie a favourite with coast theatre patrons.
The cast is drawn from the amazing pool of local actors including top professionals Tim Page and Alan Royal.
The show will be directed by Sam Coward whose unique vision and clear direction, his obsessive attention to every aspect of production, combined with his insightful and inspiring leadership, means that this show will be dynamic and exciting.
This amazing cast will belt out a catalogue of classic hits including She’s My Baby, Sing, Wild One, She Wears My Ring, I’m Counting On You, Move Baby Move, Mockingbird, Rock Around the Clock and of course Shout!
The sensational and spectacular dance routines, arranged by the acclaimed choreographer Mandy Masterson, will have you dancing in the aisles and shouting for more!

It answer all those questions about the coast that you were afraid to ask. SRT and its co-producer - Job's Right Productions - are no strangers to comedy. Practically the entire cast of Job's Right will be back onstage together. When you put people like Brett Klease, Shane Cassidy and Brad Thomson on stage with Simon Denver, Chris Surplice, Joy Marshall and an all star show band then its light the touchpaper and stand back. This show is gonna go off like a frog in a sock. It's fast, cheeky, funny, irreverent, impish and it might be a tad political... but it sure ain't correct!!

The 2008 Sunshine Coast Blues Festival will once again bring together the Blues family for a great weekend of Blues at the Nambour Showgrounds on September 12th, 13th and 14th. The Coast’s biggest & best celebration of Blues Music, this homegrown Festival with a reputation for being “True Blues” is shaping up to be a sensational weekend.
The Festival, now into its 4th year, prides itself on its initiative to seek out & showcase new talent, introducing audiences to many exciting artists that may not be widely known but bring talent, commitment & passion for the Blues.
This year’s fantastic line up of talent brings Music Oz 2006 Best Blues Band “Extended Family” and “The Ray Beadle Band” from Sydney along with Festival Favourites, Mojo Webb, Mason Rack, Hat Fitz & a host of Queensland’s best Blues Artists. The weekend introduces the Blues Breakfast Acoustic stage for those early festival risers from 9am & The Blues Club Stage is back in 08’ featuring Jams, Workshops & showcases from great up & coming local Blues acts & special guests.
The all-weather site guarantees no interruption throughout the Festival, all venues are undercover & a great selection of food is available. An added bonus is that the admission price of $70 for a weekend pass has remained the same as the previous two years! As in past years, adding to the atmosphere of this friendly event, there is on-site camping so you can kick back at the end of the evening, relax with your fellow festival goers & get ready together for the next day’s events.

This event attracts clubs from all over Queensland and is for the disciplines of Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics. Rhythmic Multiples Championships involves group performances in Rhythmic Gymnastics. Border Challenge has been successfully defended by Queensland since its inception in 2002. Sunshine Team Challenge will involve interstate clubs in all three disciplines competing against Queensland Clubs.
